The World’s Premiere Children’s Entertainers Are Proud To Announce Their Partnership With The National Literacy Program Reach Out and Read
The most beloved family entertainment band in the world, The Wiggles, are setting out on their wildest adventure to date. The fab four from down under are back with a brand new live show! This spectacular musical extravaganza will showcase old favorites as well as their latest hit “Monkey Man” featuring Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue from their most recent album “The Wiggles Go Bananas”. The Wiggles, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and all the Wiggly Dancers invite their fans to join them as they “Go Bananas Live!”
The Wiggles are proud to support the nationwide early literacy program Reach Out and Read on their “Go Bananas Live!" Summer Tour. Reach Out and Read (ROR) trains doctors and nurses to advise parents about the importance of reading aloud and to give books to children between 6 months and 5 years old at regular pediatric checkups. The Wiggles would like to encourage every family attending the show to join them in supporting Reach Out and Read by bringing a new children's book that will be donated to a child in need in your area! The Wiggling commences in Everett, Washington on July 17th and travels to thirty four cities across the nation including: Spokane, Denver, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Long Island and Nashville.
Come and wiggle in the aisles as The Wiggles Go Bananas Live! Tour brings The Wiggles highly interactive, fun and educational message throughout the United States. Audience participation features include:
o Having fun with your favorite wiggly pal as they sing and dance through the audience
o Start the fun at home by creating a Wiggles sign and/or dressing up as your favorite character
o Yelling “Wake up, Jeff!” whenever the loveable Purple Wiggle falls asleep onstage.
o Bringing roses, for dancing pal Dorothy the Dinosaur, and bones, for canine comedian Wags the Dog, that The Wiggles and Wiggly Dancers collect during the show
Children can have even more wiggly fun while they wait for the big day, as The Wiggles are proud to announce the launch of www.WiggleTime.com, their brand new virtual world for children. Created specifically for preschoolers and their parents WiggleTime.com provides toddlers with a safe and fun learning environment online. Parents are able to monitor their child’s progress and have access to premium promotional offers, competitions, merchandise discounts and presale Wiggles tickets!
