Please read the following BEFORE registering for The Wiggles Message Board:
THE WIGGLES MESSAGE BOARD (WMB) - TERMS OF USE
1. The Wiggles are entertainers of young children.
2. The Wiggles entertain children by providing developmentally appropriate material for children aged between 0 to 8 years of age through their music and videos and TV series, working always from the perspective of the child. It is important to The Wiggles that this WMB complements their unique and valuable form of entertainment;
3. The Wiggles Message Board (WMB) is an internet site that children and parents can visit comfortably and safely, sharing ideas and asking questions in a secure and protected environment. However, do bear in mind that children read these messages. We encourage parents to supervise the use of this message board by their children;
4. Have fun! WMB is there for children and parents to enjoy;
5. Don’t be afraid or feel it might be silly to ask The Wiggles or The Wiggles Office a question. We will try and answer your questions if we can, although the number of questions we receive and time constraints might make that a little difficult sometimes. Also, feel free to try and answer each others’ questions;
6. WMB is intended to relay Wiggle information to The Wiggle fans - such things as upcoming Wiggly events / concerts / special appearances / promotions. The WMB also allows The Wiggle fans to post messages to The Wiggles and to each other on Wiggly topics.
7. We’ve been asked if we could set up a Wiggly Family Forum where people can post birthday wishes, prayers for their family and friends and shared family experiences. This forum needs to be child friendly as with all forums and must not include adult oriented material that would not be deemed suitable for children.
Some suitable possibilities could include:
- Birthday greetings
- Seasonal greetings
- Greetings for other celebrations
- Accounts of / sharing family celebrations
- Requests for prayers
- Discussions of books, movies and/or music that are suitable for young children
- Sharing ideas for family and/or child friendly experiences.
8. Please treat others on the board as you would like to be treated. Please try and think about what you will be typing BEFORE you type it and the effect it may have on others. If in doubt, please refer back to these terms of use of The WMB as a guide, or do not post the message. You can e-mail Pasqua: wmb@thewiggles.com.au for advice. We’ll try and answer your e-mail as soon as we can;
9. The Wiggles ensure that the values they present work for children not against them. None of their CDs, videos or live performances shows them as antagonistic to each other or to the other characters in the show. The emphasis is always on friendship and co-operation. We would like WMB to show the same friendliness and respect for others and will have to remove any messages that do not adhere to that principle.
10. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY to any message(s) that you feel is/are inappropriate. Do not post a new message with reference to the inappropriate messages/s nor acknowledge the individual who posted it. E-mail your concern to Pasqua in Cyberspace: wmb@thewiggles.com.au with your reasons for wishing this message to be deleted.
As a general rule, 3 or more e-mails received from different senders requesting the same message/topic to be removed will be removed, regardless of content. We will endeavour to respond as soon as we can;

11. If your message(s) have been removed, please take the hint that either your message/topic or a message within that topic was deemed inappropriate for WMB. Your message may have also been moved to a more appropriate forum, eg. messages posted about family experience under the "General Wiggly Messages" may have been moved to the "Wiggly Family" forum.
12. Any messages or content placed or intended to be placed on the WMB may be restricted or removed at the absolute discretion of The Wiggles Pty Limited. The Wiggles reserve the right to restrict or remove any messages or other content submitted to the WMB, or to leave, edit, move or delete messages, links, images, media or anything else posted on the WMB without notice or explanation including users (usernames).
13. WMB does censor certain words that may be posted; however, this censoring is not an exact science, and is being done based on the words that are being screened, so certain words may be censored out of context. Words that are censored are replaced with another alpha-numeric character.
14. If a word is filtered, it's because The Wiggles Pty Ltd does not wish that word to be used on WMB. Evading the word filtering system through the use of techniques such as spaces, hyphens, etc will be considered a violation of the Terms of Use of WMB and may result in your username being locked/banned. Some exceptions may apply to appropriate words for eg. constitution, album
15. Please note that your IP address is logged in this forum and only the administrator (Pasqua) can see this information. If you are banned and happen to register again we can identify you with your IP address and you may be banned again if WMB terms of use are not adhered to. Once a username is locked/banned, that username will no longer be able to log-on or sign-up with that username and e-mail address. Please also refer to point 12 above.
16. You should be aware that words and images such as The Wiggles®™, their likenesses, Big Red Car®™, Captain Feathersword®™, Wags the Dog®™, Dorothy the Dinosaur®™ and Henry the Octopus®™ are registered as trade marks. The Wiggles trade marks are internationally protected and legal action may be commenced against anyone who infringes the trade marks or does anything to damage The Wiggles' reputation. Please also note the legal footer (Disclaimer) below which also applies to WMB.
17. Posting of personal information is not recommended such as telephone numbers, residential addresses or any information about others without their consent - this is for everyone's safety. Copying of messages from WMB to other sources, such as other message boards, without the express permission of the author of that message and The Wiggles Pty Ltd will result in your username being locked/banned permanently if The Wiggles Pty Ltd has seen evidence of this.
18. Please note that putting your e-mail address into the allocated box is OPTIONAL and that putting your e-mail address is your own choice - allowing others to contact you if you want. (refers only to the Message Board itself and not to the Signing Up form as the e-mail you use to sign-up cannot be seen by others directly from the forum). ADDITIONALLY: We highly recommend you not use your e-mail address as a username, as this will be seen by all registered users of WMB.
19. Messages may be left on the WMB for approximately 1 to 2 months (depending on the amount and frequency of new messages per each forum) - as this keeps the message board within a reasonable size for viewing as quickly as possible for all visitors;
20. Time of messages: please note that the time displayed next to the messages is Brisbane, Queensland, AUSTRALIA local time, as the WMB is there. So no matter what part of the world you may be in, your message, when posted, will display Brisbane time. Also, please note that Queensland does not observe Daylight Saving in summer time.
21. The Wiggles Website Privacy Policy (link at bottom right of this page) - please refer to the Privacy Policy in regards to any of your personal information given during signing up.
22. Any websites (links, URLs), "chat rooms" or other message boards, images and media mentioned on WMB by visitors are not supported or endorsed by The Wiggles Pty Ltd, despite some of these websites, chat rooms or message boards, images, media containing the word "Wiggly", "Wiggles" or part thereof. The Wiggles cannot be held responsible for these websites, "chat rooms" and message boards, images, media or the content that they contain and we'll restrict these where possible. Any form of third-party advertising is restricted from WMB, this may include third-party advertisements for The Wiggles products.

Logging On Problems & Registration Problems:
This statement has been prepared with helpful information for those who are experiencing difficulties with either logging on or on signing up to The Wiggles Message Board.
LOGGING ON PROBLEMS:
Your account may not be activated yet as we manaully approve registrations usually within a 24 hour period from the time you signed up.
If you have signed up within the last 24 hours, you should have received an e-mail from us with a unique link which when clicked on (once only) will activate your account [called the Activation Key]. The link will not work if clicked on a second time (double-clicked) as the Activation Key has been activated and the link expired and hence an error message. Please try logging on to The Wiggles Message Board if this occurs. If you have not received an e-mail, you may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly, your e-mail may have bounced back due to your e-mail account being at it's limit or other technical reasons. If this occurs, please try signing up again with a different username and e-mail address.
Please make sure that the link provided in the e-mail sent to you is not broken as the link may continue onto the next line and may not been seen as part of the blue underline link. If this occurs, please copy and paste the entire link into you web browser's address bar.

If not please e-mail us your Username as we do not know your password due to the encryption we use for passwords. We will then, if your username is in our database, generate another e-mail which will contain another unique link to click to activate your account by you.
Please note that accounts that have been approved and are awaiting activation by the user will be deleted after a 48 hour period of signing up. This clears the problem of not being able to re-register with the same e-mail address or username as well as clearing sign-ups with an invalid e-mail address (an e-mail that doesn't work).
ADDIT: We have noticed that some e-mails sent out with activation key contain the following within the link: "=2E". Please replace =2E with a full-stop "." and then try the link. The easiest way is click on the link and then change it in the internet browser's address bar.

FORGOTTEN PASSWORD:

If you do not remember your username so as to use the above link to retrieve your password, the only other way we may be able to help is if you e-mail us any other information, such as first and last names that you may have optionally entered during sign-up, otherwise you will need to sign-up again for another username.
If you had registered for The Wiggles Message board prior to 8th October 2003, you may have signed up for the old message board (now closed).
Registrations to the older message board are not applicable to The Wiggles (NEW) Message Board http://wmb.thewiggles.com.au and require a new registration. All User details from the old message board have now been deleted.
REGISTRATION PROBLEMS:
This may be due to your cookie settings as indicated in the opening "Privacy Statement for The Wiggles Message Board":
Cookies must be turned on in your browser to participate as a user in these forums. Cookies are used here to hold your username and password and viewing options, allowing you to login.
Please check your internet browser cookie setting and Help information for your internet browser.
Also, if you or your network uses a firewall or antivirus software, these will need to be disabled in order to register and then enabled once registration is filled out.
ADDIT: Any username that has not logged-in after a year will have their username and details deleted.
